Holly Vukadinovic was born in May of 1983 in Melbourne, Australia to English mother Rachel and Serbian father Ryko. At the age of twelve Holly Valance became a model, and three years later the crew of Australian soap "Neighbours" approached her to play the part of loveable Felicity 'Flick" Scully. But while a steady job on a hit soap was great, Holly Valance opted not to renew her contract in 2002. Instead, Holly Valance set her sights on a singing career, something Holly Valance had been practicing for since Holly Valance was 13. Her first single, "Kiss Kiss," was an instant hit in Europe and went all the way to number one in the UK and Australia (her second single, "Down Boy," will be released September 2002). As if being named one of the "Sexiest Women in the World" by FHM in 2000 wasn't enough, Valance also received the GQ Award for "Woman of the Year" in London this past year, beating out contenders like Dido and Rachel Weisz. 2004 saw the release of her second album "State of Mind" and a more techno sound from the stunning songstrel. However, the album failed to sell well and Valance was dropped from her record label in May 2004.
